CALL FOR SISC MEMBERSHIP 2018

Becoming a SISC member is the easiest way to join the Italian network of scientists dealing with climate in their studies and research, thus contributing to scientific progress and innovation of climate sciences in Italy.

SISC is open to individual members and institutional members.

 

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

  • a discount on Individual fee for 2018 SISC Annual Conference;
  • access to the SISC membership directory;
  • the right to post announcements (events, job opportunities) in the contributed pages of the SISC website at no charge;
  • the right to use the SISC mailing list to send messages about events and activities;
  • the SISC News on the SISC activities, events, publications and issues suggested by SISC members;
  • the opportunity of accreditation at COP23-BONN as SISC delegate;
  • the right to vote in the SISC General Assembly and in the SISC elections.

Who can become a member?
Any person, of any nationality, who is involved in climate change sciences in their training or profession, can become a SISC member.
Researchers, scientists, experts and students that deal with climate sciences and climate policies are particularly encouraged to become a member.
Students can enjoy a reduced fee compared to the standard membership fee.

 

Membership Options and Prices

  • Standard: 50 €/year
  • Students: 20 €/year (At the moment of registration, you will be asked to prove your status as a student with the necessary documents)

Fees are valid until December 31st, 2018

  • one free registration fees to the SISC Annual Conference 2018;
  • the right to post announcements (events, job opportunities) in the contributed pages of the SISC website at no charge;
  • the right to use the SISC mailing list to send messages about events and activities;
  • the SISC News on the SISC activities, events, publications and issues suggested by SISC members;
  • the SISC advocacy for initiatives (events, campaigns) that meet the SISC mission;
  • the opportunity of accreditation at COP23-BONN as SISC delegate and to organise joint side events;
  • the right to vote in the SISC General Assembly and in the SISC elections.

Who can become a member?
Associations, local authorities and other public or private bodies and institutions, with or without legal personality, however denominated, whose operating sectors are connected with SISC’s purposes or are interested in supporting the Association in its activities or initiatives.

 

Membership Prices
The institutional membership fee is 1.500 €/year, valid until December 31st, 2018.
