How to reach the Scientific Campus
The Scientific Campus is located in Mestre, about 8 km away from Venice historical centre.
From Marco Polo Airport: Bus N. 15 take you straight to the Scientific Campus. Bus N. 5 take you to Piazzale Roma (Venice).
From Venezia-Mestre train station: Bus N. 15 and 43 take you to the Scientific Campus. Timetables are available here.
Local trains also stop at the Venezia Porto Marghera station, a 10-minute walk to the Scientific Campus. Further information is available here.
How to reach Venice from the Scientific Campus
Venice and Mestre are connected all day and all night long by bus (N.43, “Università” bus stop close to the Campus) and tram-line, both accessible with the same ticket. Detailed information is available here. Bus tickets can be purchased in a newspaper stand, 200 m from the Campus.
It is possible to reach Venice also by train from Venezia-Mestre or Venezia-Porto Marghera stations. Train tickets can be purchased at the Zeta Building, in the Campus.
